COA Transparency Standards

Transparency report

Short answer

HALO publishes its public COA transparency standard: every active lot should have lot-specific HPLC purity, identity confirmation where applicable, third-party testing, and downloadable batch records tied to the vial label. This page documents the standard HALO holds itself to — not aggregate industry statistics.

What we publish for every active lot

Compound name, SKU/vial size, lot number, test date, analytical method, HPLC purity result, identity pass/fail, and a downloadable certificate on the product page and Lab Results index.

Third-party testing requirement

Analytical documentation is performed by independent laboratories. HALO does not treat supplier self-reported COAs as sufficient for procurement-grade records without third-party verification.

Identity testing standard

HPLC purity alone is insufficient. HALO targets identity confirmation by mass spectrometry (LC-MS, ESI-MS, or MALDI-TOF as appropriate) on peptide batches.

How to audit HALO against this standard

Use the seven-point checklist at /peptide-coa-checklist/, read /hplc-vs-lc-ms/, and match your vial lot to the published COA before entering material into assays.

Direct answers

Does HALO publish fake aggregate statistics?

No. This page documents HALO's COA standard and audit process — not unverified industry-wide claims.

Can institutions request documentation packets?

Yes. See /institutional-procurement/ or email [email protected] with order and lot details.

Research use only. HALO materials and educational content are for qualified laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
