Editorial standards
How HALO publishes research content.
Every research guide and comparison on this site is sourced, written, fact-checked, and dated by HALO Editorial — the institutional editorial team responsible for technical content on halobuilt.com. This page documents how we work so qualified purchasers and procurement teams can evaluate the source.
01 · Sources
PubMed / DOI only
Citations link to PubMed (PMID) or a DOI. We do not cite blogs, forums, supplement vendor pages, or self-published preprints. Where multiple primary studies disagree, we cite both and describe the disagreement rather than averaging.
02 · Review cadence
90-day rolling review
Each guide is re-read against current literature on a 90-day rolling schedule. The “Reviewed” date in the byline reflects the most recent review pass — not the original publication date. Material errors discovered between reviews are corrected immediately and the date advances.
03 · Voice
Mechanism, not marketing
Guides describe receptor pharmacology, structural identity, handling, and study design context. We do not describe dosing protocols for humans, claim therapeutic effects, or compare products against medicines. This is RUO content for laboratory readers, not patient education.
Corrections
Spot a factual error, an outdated citation, or a sequence/MW discrepancy? Email procurement with the URL and the correction. Material corrections are merged within 72 hours and the affected guide’s reviewed date is advanced to reflect the change.
