Sermorelin (GHRH 1-29) is the biologically active N-terminal 29-amino acid fragment of endogenous growth hormone releasing hormone. It was one of the first GHRH analogues characterised in research and remains a reference standard compound for studying pituitary somatotroph cell function, GHRH receptor binding, and GH secretion kinetics.
