Description
Tesamorelin is a synthetic GHRH analogue stabilised with a trans-3-hexenoic acid modification at the N-terminus, improving enzymatic stability versus native GHRH. It stimulates pulsatile GH secretion through GHRH receptor activation in somatotroph cells and is studied in models of visceral adipose tissue regulation, IGF-1 production, and lipid metabolism in the context of GH deficiency states.
