Description
TB-500 is a synthetic analogue of the actin-sequestering domain of thymosin β4 (Tβ4), a 43-amino acid polypeptide ubiquitously expressed in nucleated cells. Research interest in TB-500 focuses on its role in actin cytoskeletal regulation, cell migration, angiogenesis, and extracellular matrix remodelling. In preclinical models it has been studied alongside BPC-157 for combinatorial tissue-signalling investigations.
